Our Pale Poli ʻAi are made of three layers of soft, absorbent, bamboo-cotton cloth (the same we use in our diapers!), and an outer, waterproof layer of PUL to keep you and your clothes dry!

They have a natural, cone-like design for a gentle fit that won't move under your bra. Plus, they're reusable, machine washable, and another easy way to be a bit more eco-friendly and aloha our 'āina.

About This Print

Pāpiopio

Growing up at the shore in Kāneʻohe, I always sought out the pāpio because it fought like no other fish. Hooking into a pāpio was challenging and unforgettable. When it is still a juvenile, fitting in your palm, it's called pāpiopio. Diving near where the waves break on a sandy beach, I like watching schools of them darting in the shallows. This layout by Chanel Tsang is the perfect illustration of a school of pāpiopio.

Our diapers are CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) and CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) compliant, which means that they are safe for children, do not contain harmful metals and chemicals, and have passed testing at a CPSC-accepted testing lab.

Our products are responsibly made in China. We work only with manufacturers who operate under the Fair Labor Association Workplace Code of Conduct, which ensures a safe and healthy workplace setting, fair wages, and standard, regulated work hours. 

We manufacture our products in small batches to minimize waste.
We do our best to utilize tags and packaging made from plant-based and recycled materials, and minimally package our products with eco-friendly supplies.
