Absorbent and Plush

These inserts are extra absorbent and plush! They are so soft and prevent leakage from my heavy wetters!

Our inserts are the perfect solution when you need extra absorbency for a heavy wetter or a nighttime diaper! They can also be used to convert your reusable swim diaper in to a cloth diaper. Made of super soft natural fibers (55% bamboo - 45% cotton), you'll love how easy it is to customize absorbency for your baby's ever-changing needs. The cotton works as a quick absorber, wicking moisture away from baby's skin, while the bamboo acts as slower absorber with tons of capacity--bamboo absorbs 40% more than cotton! These natural fiber inserts have minimal bulk and work together to keep baby comfortable.

Pro Tips: Fold the inserts over to fit in the diaper at different rise settings or to provide extra absorbency where your baby needs it most. Don't overstuff your diapers; check and change them often.

  • 14" L x 4" W (11 x 36 cm)
  • 4 or 6 layers of super soft, highly absorbent, natural fibers (55% bamboo - 45% cotton).
  • The 4-layer inserts are the same as those included with our kaiapa pākeke.
  • The 6-layer inserts are "boosters," intended for heavy wetters and overnight use.
  • Sold in packs of 2.
  • Fantastic extra absorbency with minimal bulk.
  • Care

    Before Use

  • Wash and dry all inserts at least once before use. This will help wash away natural oils that minimize absorption.

  • Before Washing Soiled Diapers

  • Remove/shake solids into the toilet at each diaper change.
  • Place soiled diapers/inserts/cloth wipes into dry pail or wet bag until laundry day. Do not soak.

  • For Every Wash Cycle

  • Pre-wash: Warm wash, shortest cycle, with minimal or no detergent. This will help lift stains and rinse away residual waste.
  • Main wash: Hot wash, heavy cycle, with detergent and extra rinse.
  • Dry: Tumble dry on low or hang dry.

  • Important Tips!

  • Wash around 12-18 one size diapers (plus inserts, wipes, pail liner and wet bags) in each load.
  • Wash every 2 to 3 days after use.
  • Do NOT use fabric softener, bleach or dryer sheets.
  • Only use cloth diaper-safe creams on your baby.
  • Air drying in direct sunlight is the best way to dry and disinfect diapers and inserts and also get rid of stains! However, do not leave them in direct sunlight for longer than necessary; the powerful UV rays and high temperatures may damage diapering products.
